CULT OF ALCAEUS

Cult Of Alcaeus is a Portuguese extreme metal band forged in the Seixal Bay Area, delivering an aggressive blend of Death, Thrash, and Groove Metal. Our sound reflects a world locked in destructive cycles, where rage, control, and decay define the human condition.

Formed in 2024, Cult Of Alcaeus introduced its conceptual universe through the Doomed Cycles trilogy of singles, released digitally. The Doomed Cycles concept explores humanity's tendency to repeat patterns of destruction and reconstruction, ultimately leading to inevitable collapse. In a distant future, awareness of these cycles may eliminate the very desire for progress or evolution.

In early 2025, the band released Doomed Algorithms, a split with Necro Algorithm, which received good critical acclaim. The release marked a significant step forward, expanding the band's narrative into themes of dehumanization, and systemic violence.

Following the release, Cult Of Alcaeus entered an active promotion phase, bringing its sound to the stage through live performances and participating in several events throughout 2025, with additional appearances already confirmed for 2026.
